does anyone know where this lives as ive been told mine is sh***ed because it takes ages to lock or unlock the doors with the fob......i've phoned the dealer and they said we're not allowed to tell you lol

A guy i know who deals in reprograming keys etc. yes i have to press the fob repeatedly and also the mirrors have only ever folded in once when i hold the lock button down. its really annoying when its raining

This looks to be the location for the Convenience Control Unit (I think the diagram is LHD). It should be the same since 2006.

So if you phone them up and ask where the spare tyre is can they not tell you that either ??? maybe its top secret !

Stupid dumb ass main dealers - its no wonder people don't like using them !

after ive locked it with the fob if i put the key in the lock and turn it to the left and hold it the mirrors will fold in but not when i use the fob :confused:

I've had the mirrors thing with mine before and resetting the MFD settings to factory default seemed to resolve that each time. You obviously then have to go through the menus to set anything up you changed before.

I'd have suggested a battery issue but maybe the actual fob is playing up !?... how old is the car ? Is the fob in generally good condition or pretty used ?

Strange thing happened tonight my fob started working as it should the mirrors folded in and the boot button worked and I've just been out to try it and now it's not working properly again and I have to press it quite a few times to lock/unlock the doors
:-(
