Central locking

hi,

iam unable to unlock my car using the key fob. I have read up on re establishing the connection with the car, the only problem is that a previous owner has removed the door lock on the drivers door which you need to use in order to reset the fob. Is there another way to do it and will the Seat dealership have the same problem? Ps the car is a Leon Cupra R 02 plate . Thanks

removing the handle itself and activating the door mech manually from inside would the easiest way
