Hello, last week I started my car up in the snow and drove about 50 metres when I lost my power steering. I turned the car off and back on and it wouldn't start. We got a battery on and it was fine, I drove my car home. The next morning I drove my car to work and everything was still fine, but on the way back the power steering went again and all the lights/speedo on the dash went off. We managed to recover it and put an alternator on which made it start up and got me home once again. The day after my alternator was put on I once again drove to work and lost my power steering and yet again, wouldn't turn on after switching off. The compartment above my battery with the metal fuses is looking a little worse for wear. Could it be this? Or something else? Rather annoying after getting a new Alternator slapped on. The battery light came on shortly after driving with the new Alternator and the headlights also got brighter when I put some revs on.
