This is real dumb question. I own a mk4 seat ibiza 1.4ltr sport. trying to change my rear tyre. took off all the nuts but tyre won't come off. any ideas?

do you mean wheel wont come off ??? if so you will need to hit it with a mallet or similar around the outer and inner of the wheel.... but hit it on the tyre sidewall

yeh the wheel wont come off, tried the other side as well and same thing happened

Try a dead weight rubberised mallet & a piece of soft wood on the tyre. Usually this happens with steel wheels where the centre bore of the wheel & hub become an interference fit due to corrosion.

it will be cus they havent been removed for a long time so a bit of force is needed. try kicking it with the flat of your foot all round the wheel.

are we saying several bashes with a mallet or a couple light knocks?
