Hello,
Today I tried to charge my Cupra formentor but after I plugged the original SEAT charging cable to my home socket, the protection device had its self-check and then the red/error LED came up on the device, while the home/power supply/top LED was blinking. (From top to bottom, as you see the protection device, the first LED was blinking and the last was steadily on)
Since these were on and flashing, the vehicle could not be charged. Also, as I saw from the back of the Protection Device, this type of signal, means that there is a live PE error or a PE break or faulty AC Voltagge supply. I tried plugging the cable to another socket, but same error comes up.
Has anyone experienced something like this? If yes, what was it at last?

Can’t remember the exact light sequence, but similar happened to me a year or two with my hybrid….people recommended new cables blah blah……turned out to be low 12v battery charge……apparently a dip in that will play havoc with the big battery….tightening of connectors , a good razz on the petrol engine and back in business……..now I always make sure I do some petrol miles in between ev spells
