The charging flap on my 6 month old Terrimar v2 would not close. I carried on taping it closed after charging and booked it into my local Camberley service centre today. I have just picked it up to be advised that the part needed on the actual flap is on back order. The flap is now closed and unable to open, so not able to charge at all. The service centre could not give me any idea of how long this would take. Has anyone else had experience of this problem with the flap and if so how long did you have to wait for the part to arrive. Thanks

Happened to mine once and locking/unlocking repeatedly whilst pushing on the flap cured it...not had a re-occurance. There is also a manual release cable under the bonnet just above the flap if needed.

Hi Chris, thanks for your reply. The manual release cable is for the release of the charging cable only, unfortunately there isn't a manual release for the flap.
Cupra have ordered the parts its just that they have fully closed the flap shut stopping me charging the car at all. I know its a PHEV so I've still able to drive, but petrol only. Not knowing how long the wait for parts is going to be is the wind up. Cupra cant/wont tell me so I'm in limbo, not impressed at all truth be told. Thank again for your reply. Roy
