yeah, along the top and then down, both on top of the door and inside the window area?

I have just done this on my mk4 FR and I used some windscreen washer tubing that I bought from halfords a while ago!

I used the 4.7mm internal diameter pipe and it fits nice and snug in the gap, I must admit that the difference in wind noise is much better than what I expected!

This is a must do mod for anyone! Plus you can buy the pipe for £1.50 for 2.4M at the moment (bought some more today as I only had enough left to do one side), the 2.4M is more than enough to do both sides!

Just digging this thread up as am going to give this a go myself. Shame the pictures have vanished as I'm not quite sure where to put this rubber. Anyone got any pics?

Creator and inventor here :) don't expect any miracles, but it defo helps, I dont use rubber anymore and instead bought some 5 to 7mm draft excluder foam which fits perfectly in the channel !

can get from most diy shops, most B&Q's sell it or flee bay

Thanks for the reply! I've had a go today and taken some pics which I will post later, I've not driven the car yet but think I have done it right.

So we are talking about behind this fabric bit, the void in there.

And pushed it in like this.

That's all I have done for now but I know the other part you mean that is only visible when the door is open.

Is it an idea to fix this with a COAX (as we call it in Holland)?;

Or will it be to 'thick'?
