Cheap LCR TYRE prices - Ignore the last thread I posted!

Hi, after doing some research on prices for LCR tyres I thought I would post a few prices that I have found. The website I used to search was www.camskill.co.uk and all tyres are 225/40 R18's with at least a 'W' speed rating.

Diamondback 968 £41.00
Enduro 916 £36.00
Federal SS595 £59.50
Fullrun HP199 £44.00
Kumho Ecsta £52.00
Kumho Ku19 £54.00
Nankang Ns2 £53.00
Stunner Skudo £56.00
Falken 452 £61.00

All of these prices are for single tyres including VAT. If they're sold as single tyres though there is a £4 delivery charge. I hope this post has been some help to anyone requiring new tyres! :)

These prices are new from 08/01/2008

You can go back into your original post, edit it and delete it.
Which tryes are you buying?
W rated tyres are not adequate for the LCR though, thought it had to be Y rated it 150 MPH plus, you never know when the need takes you;)

LCR required XL (extra load) tyres (reinforced), pretty sure most of those are not. The Falken FK452 is a very good tyre, getting rave reviews all over, that's the only one on that list I'd consider.

Don't skimp on cheap tyres - it could cost you your life!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll probably go for the Falken ones too, they're Z rated and I would go for them, the only reason I mentioned the W rated tyres is because when I searched the tyres that could be used for the LCR, it came up with the W at least :) Not all of us can afford to keep our 'pedal to the metal' Haha. That however, is the best price I could find on Falkens as I did look on a few sites.

I put 2 Federal SS595's on about a week ago, only on the back at the moment, but a very good tyre, had F1 GSD3's before, and havn't noticed any difference, although like I say, they are only on the back, but I will be putting them on the front when the time comes!

i'm going for the falken's next time round.

just got a pair of fk451's for our lass' 206 CC from camskill - highly recommended company.

only bit that lets them down in the delivery company.
I had the card through the door saying they tried to deliver.. funny i was in...
drove 15 miles to the distribution centre... and... they only had one of the two tyres...
one got left in birmingham the lady said to me, then she got a funny look from her boss and she realised she shouldnt have said that.
That explains why i didnt hear the doorbell ring then; because it didnt.
Took them a few days to get the other tyre down and i still had to go pick them up. which included the mandatory 20 mins while they get every person in the whole office to try and scan the bar code before they decide it wont scan and press a few buttons instead.

If they could offer an alternative delivery company, eg royal mail as reasonable cost id go for that as if you work or are not in then you can at least get them left as a local post office.

camskill themselves are great.

seconded, walked outside my house on saturday morning to find two tyres just sitting by my front door waiting to be pinched. no delivery note or anything and i'd be in all morning.

i got mine from camskill last week but had them delivered to work
they were here at 9 in morning no problems at all

Although strangely these falkens are not feeling quite the same as my last ones did,
Im getting a bit of understeer unlike last time but that could all be down to the weather

Previously mine had Ventus K104 on front and Nagkang NS2 on rear, bought a pair of the Falken 452, threw it into a round about and gripped, nextroundabout the front seriously out gripped the rear. Great tyres for the money
