Since my more than 7 year old Leon still has the factory original wiper blades, this post made me think it's about time I replaced them. I ended up ordering these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/SEAT-2005-2009-WINDSCREEN-WIPER-BLADES/dp/B009675RCY/ref=pd_sim_sbs_auto_9 they have a completely smooth top surface with no clips or end caps. I looked them up and they are a German company; no reviews on Amazon for the Leon blades, but there are a few for other cars and they are 5 star so they look promising.

I bought these the other day and tried to fit them but they don't fit. The connection part which attaches to the wiper arm is different to the Bosch ones.

I have a Leon FR facelift does anybody else tried these with a facelift model? I have also been on euro car parts website and put my reg in and the part number matches up but I can get it to fit.

Anybody any ideas?

No there on all the Bosch ones but not the above. The two bits at the side you press in to slide in and out are different and it doesn't clip in the top properly.

No idea what you are doing, i bought a set for my FL and they clip straight in. The 2 arrow like prongs push in and clip in place. I also got the rear blade as mine was sqeeking

It doesn't clip in the top there's like a 3mm gap at the top. And once 'it's nearly in' you can just pull it straight out.

I bought some of these and fitted last week. Are you still struggling to fit?

If it helps I remember you have to slip the clip of the wiper blade over the wiper arm/stem first and then lock/click the blade in if that helps in anyway?

Just tried them again and they fit. Didn't realise they have a left and a right side one. The more expensive Bosch ones can be used on either side.

Silly me.

Strange as the Valeo's I got could be used on either side and just clipped in without issue

Had Bosch on the Ibiza which did require different left and right blades. Seem to remember they came with an extra clip in the box which wasn't needed.

Yeah the Bosch ones come with like a cover/clip but mine could be out either side but the cheaper ones it has different part numbers on the blade one ends 326 and the other 327
