Hi guys, thinking about putting in HID's, not sure about the 6000k, could be too strong as i have a black LC

Please can you tell me where would be a good place i can buy from, had a look on diane shop on ebay but there is only 6000k on there

any help would be great

How do you mean too strong?
Not sure how the colour of the car affects it but mines also black and I have 6000k fitted.

4300k are quite yellow, most people opt for the 6000k ones as they are white light although that does then create the issue whereby you want to swap your main beam, sidelight and fog lights to match lol

ah i see, well i dont want anything to bright and blue, just a little bit of blue

maybe be better of witg blue bulbs? is 6000k too bright and blind people driving the other way?

my 4300k are bluey white, i havent blinded no 1 and after i fitted them i took it to the garage that services my car to get them checked they are aligned and he said that there was no way that they would blind other drivers or the boys in blue would have me for them being to bright

No because you'll get them aligned properly after fitting of course lol

I havent blinded anybody with mine apart from when my mate moved my light out for me and i forgot to re adjust them, but that was just because one light was too low so the other looked high.

The number isnt the brightness of the bulbs anyway, its the colour temperature of the light output. The 4300k actually has the highest light output

what k it is refers to the colour does it not?not brightness.kits come in 35w or 50w,get 35w then people wont whinge at you

K stands for Kelvin. It's the temperature of the bulb filament. The higher the number, the bluer the colour.
Pure white is around 4300k.

i have 55w 4300k fitted to my dips and 35w for the heads. if i was doing it again i would do it the other way around. i find the 55w give out 2much light and the reflection can be blinding at times but in saying that nobody has ever flashed me.. here is a pic of them fitted in my red leon

i got them off german ebay for 60 euro
