Chipping my Cupra

Hi,

I've recently purchased a Cupra R 55 plate and looking to get it chipped. I've been advised that I can get away with increasing the bhp to 250-260 without having to do any other modifications. Is this right? How much will it cost me? Where's the best place to get this done?

There are loads of companies who can remap your Leon Cupra R. If you post on here your location someone might be able to recommend a company nearby.

- Yes that's right, although not a physical 'chip' these days it's software loaded onto your current ECU
- Probably between £350 and £550 + Vat
- Ah well that's the tricky one....worth searching around a bit.....

you will need to uprate the panel filter to say a green one for approx £60 i think and uprate the diverter valve to say a forge 007P for approx £75 as well but thats all!!

thanks, I have got a clue about mechanics and all the rest of it. I'm hoping that whoever I get to do the remapping will recommend this anyway. Have you had any work done to your car or previous cars?
