Found out where it is, its called Sports & Racing Motors and they charge £65 for 3 runs, not sure whether this is a good price or not but they will do it whenever you want.

I'll probably wait til I have all my boost hoses and TIP etc are in place and for the weather to get a bit cooler

Sorry mate just caught up with your previos post. Would have come with but was attempting to fit new H&R coilover kit, however supplier sent the wrong one[:@]. Gonna be a nightmare to send back as package weighs 22kg. Ended up giving the car a home clean & polish:D.

Nice one finding the RR, £65 seems reasonable for 3 runs, I'd pay that!

I've removed the n75j & put the OEM back as don't think it was suited, so u could give it a try if u like or I'll just stick it on fleabay. I've fitted the yellow spring in the DV & found it holding boost better.

Got to get the suspension order sorted before I do anything else

What was up with the N75J, was it just not liking it? I was thinking of upgrading to a yellow spring but not sure its needed with a stage 1.

I'm heading up my mates garage on saturday to sort out my top mounts and bearings if you want to come along, be good to put a face to a name

It's been way to long since I last updated my thread. So in no particular order ( because i can't remember) I have done the following:

Replaced all discs with EBC
Replaced front pads, initially with Red Stuff which failed miserably [:@] and now running Ferodos DS2500:D
Fitted forge non res polished charge pipe
Fitted forge FMIC
Fitted forge short shifter
Fitted piper cross 3" down pipe
Replaced forge TIP with B5 3" TIP. I had real surging issues initially but thought I'd try the N75J valve I had, & weirdly it sorted the problem and the car has been boosting fine.
Fitted angel eyes. Not 100% sure on these but as it's a :censored: to refit the bumper I'm living with it.
Fitted Weitec Hicon GT suspension
New 19" OZ ultra leggeras. This was probably one of my better buys as had previously gone cheap with reps and they weighed a tonne, roughly 8kg per rim more than OEM rims. The ultras weigh c9.5kg, only 1kg more than OEM (don't quote me on this) & after fitment I noticed a stark improvement on performance both in acceleration and handling.

So what has all this actually achieved apart from a maxed out credit card:cry:. I haven't had a chance to RR her since it was last on rollers by the previous owner who got 265bhp with just the stg 2 and exhaust. I had it logged for gs back in March with the forge tip and it recorded 219 = c273bhp. More recently after B5 TIP & N75 fitment it logged 225 & 226 = c282bhp (I think), so all things considered I'm happy. I actually think I could get better figures as these logs were done in 2nd gear as we don't have roads long enough to safely try 3rd & 4th gear (don't know though?).

Anyhoo next post has a bit of car p0rn to enjoy if you're like me & like that sort of thing:whistle:

I should have mentioned that I had real problems finding rims to fit over the brembos. My first choice (due to funds at the time) were Pro Race 1.3 as they were direct bolt on but alas the manufacturer (Rimstock) irreparably damaged the raw cast so my order was cancelled and I got a full refund. At his stage I was looking to freshen up the look and thought :censored: it and bought the ultras.

They do bolt straight on but boy is it tight, see below

Whats next, well have boost and temp gauges to fit to nomad but not sure were to go from here...thoughts comments awlays welcome.

If you can get a rizzla paper between your fine ;)

Nice choice with the ultra's not a common choice goes well!

Should ideally do the logs in 4th gear but 3rd is also fine. Car has come a long way dude, looks ace.

Thanks mate. Needs some serious detailing though, every time I clean it I find some new mark, dink or scratch.

So can I rely on logging in 2nd?

As with all of us then, always finding something new on the car which needs a little touch up. I've not really heard of any who have logged in 2nd so can't really comment. Even in 3rd they say the readings will be slightly lower due to load but a good guestimate on what sort of power the car is running

Mmmm I could and have got good runs in 3rd & 4th but not with logs, plus i would be doing 2 / 3 times our speed limit...& as the police over here generally have little to do they'd probably lock me up if I was caught.

Think I'll try the rollers but not convinced they're that good over here, definitely don't have blowers.

Long overdue update as got the love back for my LCR.

Started off by getting the windows tinted, pretty dark:whistle:

Also you can see got the wheels painted (powder coated)...but something went wrong with the paint as they are not meant to be this dark and some weird reaction to something.

The company is re-doing them as I type..have opted for anthracite so hopefully will look ok.

More recently i did the full n249 delete with appropriate resistor...and did the 2.0tfsi coil pack mod. Definitely sounds smoother on start up and idle. With direct hose from DV to mani it definitely holds boost better and no fault codes:)

A little while back (Feb 12), I dented the bonnet  after driving the car into the garage to quickly and hit the LCR alloys stacked and the top one had no tyre on it and slid off onto the bonnet. Got it repaired about 2 weeks ago and the valeters at the shop somehow managed to blast the front of the car so much that one of the headlights was full of water. A blessing really as it meant an excuse to remove the angel eyes and reinstall the OEM headlights...forgot how good they actually look.

...what's next...well finally decided will go BT, but will be slow process I feel as funds dictate and the wife has only gone and gotten pregnant (kind of planned) as our 2yr old should have brother or sister:D.

Have ordered the con rod package from INA and gone for riffle drilled rods, and received this today...

What's missing from this picture:confused:
Can't find anyone with this mani fitted, so thought I'd give it a go, quality looks good and the gains to be had look impressive - see JBS website for graphs etc.

So plenty of bits and bobs to get over the coming months...oh and tomorrow getting boost/oil gauges fitted to pillar pod.

Did some logs yesterday as was worried something was up, but seems ok?? (sorry about pics, couldn't get them copied on iPad).

Intake temps were average 30..not sure if this to high.

One final pic I like (France 4 days ago):D

Wow what a update. Great to hear the cars getting some serious treatment. BT going to be ace. You decided on what turbo you are going for?

Massive congratulations to you and your family dude on the news!!

Thanks for the well wishes mate.

Not sure on the turbo yet, want new uprated clutch/smf (probably that awesome one that got loads of publicity ), LSD so can get it all fitted together. Will continue the research and take my time. One thing, have decided to keep the LCR indefinitely :D

That clutch is hit and miss mate. For instance mine never came with any stickers..............gutted  In seriousness though, working perfectly on my car

LSD is top choice, if I could had afforded it when I did the clutch change I so would have. Good luck with all the plans. Keep us all informed won't you :)

Boost & oil temp gauge fitted. These are prosport from the us, they look ok but might look for white back ground ones for the OEM look.

Right PITA to fit, but here's the feed to the DV

Few things going on at the moment...

Received rear wiper blank...to fit

Ordered 4xngk iridium ix plugs BKR7EIX...for a cooler spark to compliment my 2.0 TFSI coil pack mod

Bought 'Murdered LCR' carbon spoiler with vortex fins...controversially getting painted black (purely aesthetic)

OZ's in process of being re-powdercoated in anthracite (no cost) & bought some new tyres for the rear...will have Falken 452 all round; 235/35/19 front, & 245/35/19 rear.(again purely aesthetic) but also to have some rim protection as the fronts keep mysteriously getting kerbed:cry:

Now for the good stuff..

Garratt GT2871R eliminator ordered...rated to 400bhp. *Eliminator series is direct bolt to OEM exhaust mani. *I have the JBS highflow mani with K04 bolt fitment so hoping they like each other.

New 3" dp & decat from magnex...I have 3" dp but splits out into 2 pipes, I assume for the cat back, & I want one 3" pipe all the way

I have funds for and will be ordering from Awesome their well talked about clutch, and a quaife diff.

Funds also allow for new Bosch 550cc injectors, fuel rail, fuel pump and engine mounts...then....

....revo stage 3!!:bleh:

...and then after all this will hopefully see funds built back up for big brake kit.

Thanks mate, its good to receive appreciative comments...

I was running 225 on the front and 235 on the back. So just putting the back ones on the front (lots of tread left) and changing over the 225's for 245's for the back. I did have 235's on the front on different rims though and never had any problems. I have 5mm spacers on front and 10mm on back. This new proposed set up would hopefully see me lose the spacers altogether assuming I’m happy how they sit in the arches and don’t rub anywhere.

Just ordered this
