2.0 litre engine aint it? how much bhp do they have? surprised as an FR is a diesel correct? Therefore diesels have more torque than petrols so cant imagine what the petrol torque is like
Nope it was a petrol. 2.0T i think? 200bhp according to Autotrader.

Need to work out what to do with the car whilst I'm at Uni?
Should I use a car cover, or might I get similar issues as people with bonnet bras. Ie; water being trapped between the paint and cover causing lacquer to lift / bubble? Or am I better off leaving it without a cover, where it might be prone to bird poop etc. ?

I shall use it whilst your away and will perform regular maintanence plus a wash each week with a claybar, polish and wax every 3 months

a well fitted car cover will be fine, if there's no water getting in then you wont have any issues. just whatever you do dont get a halfords one as they nearly never fit properly!

I have a proper car cover, meant to be waterproof but I don't think it is 100%.
Can't believe that FR sold for £3250..... It has 9k miles for gods sake!
