An interior essential!

Nothing major but anyone else that had bought an armrest said it ways something that should of been fitted in the factory in the first place. So I bought one as well!

Literary can be fitted in 10 minutes! Genuine Seat armrest so was a little pricey but well worth it! Certainly encourages one hand on the wheel and one hand on the gear knob and palm steering  not that I do it...

The cut outs for the cupholders over lap a tad so making a slightly smaller hole but a file should sort that.

It also comes with a soft plastic cupholder cover so you can store things in it which then means if you need a cupholder you only have one left under the stereo. Depends how often you go to Mcdonalds...

Shouldn't have to take a file to a new genuine item though mate, especially one that costs circa £140!

Having said that, I would like to get one, my arms lost without an armrest.

Where did you get yours from? Was it circa£140?

Got it off http://www.caraccessoriesplus.co.uk/product/seat-leon-armrest.html It's the cheapest price I've seen but it has £7 P&P so it's still £133

Thanks

Do like these looks good mate, really need to save some money getting married in September so can't justify £140 plus at the moment.Would buy second hand if one comes up.

Congratulations! :) you'll have to Ebay it probably :p but there's so many cheap ones on there but may lack in quality

Looks good. Armrests are a must.

Mine is just velcro'd in place at the moment as I dont want to drill into the console incase I want to sell the armrest etc. Mine is also full of crap and lottery tickets haha

Dave @ Sere is the best place for them. Sure I got mine for £123.

Think Velcro is the way forward or number plate tape unless you don't plan on ever removing it.May have to send Dave a request for a price

Custom Subwoofer and B8 Dampers

My custom build subwoofer, there's a link to how I made it in the post below.

These are the full set of Dampers, B8's, I already have H&R lowering springs fitted so these should compliment the springs, anyone questioning the ride quality after the dampers are fitted, I'll do a brief review later.

Here's a link to my custom subwoofer build thread - http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=423522

Whilst the Subwoofer was being made, I spent a day fitting Bilstein B8 dampers, although I haven't experienced any other suspension set up, I have no complaints about the springs and dampers. The combination offers a slightly harder ride, nothing you wouldn't expect from firmer suspension set up, the dampers do their job well with the lowered springs.
