Chrome accelerator pedal fell off! (Cupra)

It's gotta be a joke, but no, the accelerator pedal felt a bit strange the other day, so I looked down, only to see the chrome part on the mat, and a bog standard pedal.

I put the chrome pedal back but the same evening it's come off again.

Is this another common fault? Do they just slide/grip on, or has something snapped off?

They are a pig to fit, as I found out putting TT pedals on mine and the new Golf I have, requires a strong hand to bend the rubber over the metal pedal.

bit common sense tells you to glue/stick it back on rather than looking at it and wasting space on a forum.......cmon people get with it!!

Besides, it's pretty crap to be honest, you'd have thought they'd have put proper pedals in, instead of pedal covers... This is SEAT not Ripspeed!
