I am thinking of taking out the oil seperator cranckcase breather box to give it a clean. My question is what is the best way to clean the gunk out of it and attached breather pipe.
Or is it best to get another one - A new one cost 70 quid from the stealers which is too expensive.
Also any tips for removing off the engine.

Cheers found some info on another forum. Apparently the oil seperator is a real pain in the ass to get off

Do you need to drain the oil out to take of the oil seperator ???

if its a breather then no you wont have to as all it does is pass air from the crank into the inlet system.

i presume this is what you mean, the diagram shows how the parts are removed seperately.
