Clicking sound auto hold brake

Hi all. I've got a one week old formentor and the brake makes a clicking sound when I break and release (switches to auto hold) is this normal?

Hi. Mine made noise...very loud sound while braking at low speeds a few days after i got it. Others have had clicking noises. Have you read through the other threads about brake noises, sounds or clicking while braking?

Should be related to autohold function, would not worry me. Mine however does not make any noticable sound when autohold is engaged. Also mine is a year old, maybe on new ones it works differently.

Hi there, had my Formentor a week now and noticed this morning that when auto hold on it makes a cluck noise when releasing the brake pedal when at a standstill. Does seem to be due to auto hold keeping the brakes on and therefore the brake pedal is free when you take your foot off the brake pedal.

Don't think it is anything to worry about, and if you don't like the noise you can keep your foot on the brake or turn off auto hold.

I also note it does not do it when auto hold is switched off and you release the brake pedal or when braking but not coming to a standstill.
