clicking when reversing

Hey,

Got a strange clicking noise whilst reversing. it is only whilst reversing, has any one had this problem and what was the diagnosis?

Does it only do it as it takes up drive ???
If so and you've got an LCR it's probabley just the pads moveing in the calipers, nothing to worry about.

if its a loud clunck click type only when reversing then it could be the reverse gear on its way out in the gearbox ...

try getting someone to push the car back in netral if still makes noise then be the pads if not you could have a major issuse
