Climate Control prelift to facelift unit

On A Connector (black) extract both; Pin 16 and Pin 20 and put Pin 16 on the place were Pin 20 was, leave the wire on Pin 20 loose (not connected to the harrnes)
I’ve done this and the climate controller works as all the functions should, however , the illumination on the panel is such that it’s impossible to see in daylight, it is perfect in the dark though.
On the B connector, there is no pin 6 and on the C connector, there are no pins 7 & 8.
Does anybody know how to increase the illumination on the climate control panel?
