Hi, friend of mine who is the owner of a seat cupra k1 has told me that if I hold the lock button on the key fob any open windows will all close and vice versa regarding the unlock button. However mine does nothing? Should this happen or is it only on certain models? I have a 55 plate seat altea 2.0l tdi sport.
Thanks.

Hi Jonesy,
My 07 Altea opens/closes windows on the button if held down for a couiple of seconds, also folds/unfolds mirrors.
I would have thought your Sport model should too.

Neil.

Yeh my mate told me it's standard with seat so was expecting it to work on mine too does anyone know possibly why this isn't working? Thanks.

I don't think mine does this, that said my keyfob really doesn't work like it's supposed to so I don't think mine can be classed as a decent working example!

I do however think I've seen the options when looking through the VAGCOM documentation (although never looked on the car to see if it actually exists).

Currently, my keyfob will lock the car, but not unlock it :S also, I have to be stood right next to the car for it to actually do anything at all :(

My wifes 59 plate did this. Simple battery change in the key fob fixes it. (if you haven't tried already?)
