Hi

My lcr occasionally makes a clunking noise from the front passenger side when braking at slow speeds. Any ideas what this could be?

Thanks

do you find it does it after your have been reversing? if i say reverse off the drive, when i brake at the end of the road it clunks once EVERY TIME and won't do it again til i reverse again.

ive read on here it happening to other people too and its nothing to be worried about.

Some pads move in the calipers. I had the same thing and it went away when i changed to ferrodos. Nothing to worry about

im getting this too! would be nice to find out what it is

My Mk3 Ibiza started (with Brembo's) this a few weeks ago, my ABS light also illuminated at the same time & then reset itself. The pads cannot move unless the pad pin has migrated, check the pin, doubt very much that this has happened. My ABS light is now illuminated all the time & the clunking noise has disappeared. Will hook it up to VAGCOM when I get a chance but I'm suspecting the ABS unit is at fault.

Ours does this but its the driver seat base mount. It sounds like a clunk coming from under the car.

Garage had a look today... said that the driver side top mount has some play, gonna get it replaced next week hopefully will cure it

Whats a driver side top mount?

My car does this as well, from the drivers side
