Clutch and clock!

Evening all,

2 quick questions, do I need an uprated clutch for just stage2? Only planing intake and exhaust really.

Secondly how the hell do o change the clock to the right time? I've tried everything I reckon, I've searched and googled it lol. I've got satnav if that makes a difference.

Hi mate, regards clutch you won't need one until it starts to slip all depends on the map really.

Some will start to slip at stage1 its a bit of a lottery.No doubt it will need one at some point but again it's a bit of a guessing game.

Also depends how hard it's been driven. No doubt if I'm wrong someone will correct me but as you are id stick with what you have then save money for when the time comes to get an uprated clutch.

Regards clock (might not be the same on yours with nav) on the dials stick that you press to reset the mileage trip if you turn it to the left that will change the hrs and if you turn it to the right it will change the mins.

If you've got the big MFD there is an option on the setup menu, think you can only access it when stationary.

Thanks for the advice. I know the clutch was a must for stage2+ hopefully I'll be lucky on stage2

Regards the clock I've tried thought the MFD only have a option for the date strangely lol, I'll try the button in the middle again, I've been trying to turn it right lol

Heads up, mine was ok on stage 1, only been stage 2 for a week and clutch is already slipping! Probably just bad luck but prepare yourself for it to happen at some point

I'm running stage 2+ and I fit a new flywheel when I rebuilt my engine as the clutch had been done 500miles before. As long as you drive with the gearbox as in change down instead of booting it in 6th at 40mph you will be fine. Mines still fine and it was mapped 3 months ago.

Our lass uses it ad a daily too

I drilled it into her, she knows. Cause if she forgets it's coming out of the joint account ha ha
