I've been given a Leon SE 1.6 TDI manual as a loan car, and I think it's been ragged every day from its build. The clutch has a biting point above half way on the clutch travel. I have to literally lift my foot up quickly and rev the nuts off it.
Is this normal?
There's literally no bite point within the first 6 inches of travel.
