Sorry didnt get a chance to any videos today, manic at work, then the weather was terrible.

I will try again tomorrow, sorry as I know how frustrating it can be waiting to decide on what option / brand to go for.

Be good to get vids IN the car and OUTSIDE the car, as I know folks are worried about drone.

Exhausts are the only thing that can 'make' the car, or 'ruin' it. Hence for me personally I'm a choosy fooker. :)

I've got the full 3" decat system, it does not drone and is reasonably quiet until you open it up and your ears begin to bleed.

Love it.

As nd-photo-nl has said though. The points on noise levels being subjective.

If you came from any n/a car to this one. It will always be quieter. As for me, have never run a decat, but HAVE run a cheapo exhaust on my first car and I think the drone in that car scared me for life!

Also still haven't seen any dyno readouts of these cobras at work yet :-(

Got mine on today and OMG I love it. Welds are very neat, fabricated nicely, fit - dare I say better than standard. Noise is immense nice and sporty sounding when idling and cruising around not droney or intrusive at all. Soon as it comes on boost it just sounds awesome, quite loud although I have scorpian decat. Gets loads of pops on the overrun too. I Drove 20 odd miles home with the windows down in the pouring rain!

Quick update, after only having my new exhaust fitted for 3days, I am not happy with the tailpipe.

I just feel the 6x4" oval doesn't sit right. Don't know if it's projecting too far out or the 6x4" is too big.

Anyways I contacted C&C and they can change the tailpipe to a different style for me, just don't know what to go for. Was looking at a few other LC for ideas.

Either back to an angled cut twin or a smaller oval set further back slightly.

I will get some pics up, thoughts appreciated.

It still sounds great, I know need to get a video up aswell, just so busy at work just now.

:)

Im hating FedEx as we speak, I gave them an instruction to deliver the exhaust across the street (postal point), but it seems they cant perform a simple task. Also they didnt left a not saying: you weren't home, I had to find out myself...

Should be delivered today, we'll c what happens. Never had this problem with TNT/UPS.

Congrats with your exhaust btw

morning guys..... i had the turbo back 3" non res system with the sports cat fitted yesterday.
i took the car in to the garage and got chance to check out the system before it was fitted.... the welds were all very neat and no stress on any of the bends whatsoever.
i left the car expecting maybe a 2 hour fitting time but due to the original exhaust rusting up they had to cut most of it off and wrestle with the bolts. They said the turbo end was a pain to fit but the rest was not a problem at all. The only other slight thing that you may want to watch out for is that the back box is a bit tight to the rear bumper but a couple of spacers were put in and it sits very nice with no knocking even over this country's awesome flat roads!!!!
Now to the main bit.... noise....
starting with the potential cabin drone....... one word.... NONE!
all the noise comes when on throttle but at 70-80 there is the smallest of rumbles from the back box but i would honestly say stock systems are very close to the same noise.
The out side noise when on full throttle is absolutely immense.... it is not overly loud to attract unwanted attention but sounds very very nice.....
on tick over there is a very deep nice burble and when you pull away you dont get old grannies dropping to the ground thinking there is an air raid coming back in!

i have a very poor quality interior video that i will try and upload and at some point today i will be able to grab a mate to video a proper one with a decent phone/camera.

hope this helps guys
