coding for abs control unit

hi guys i have just brought a 1998 2.0l 16v cupra. but the abs and brake warning light is on. luckly i have access to a 1551 and the fault code is control unit incorrectly coded. the unit looks clean as if it has been replaced recently so i suspect it may be off a golf or polo therefore the coding being wrong. can any 1 help me with what the coding should be? i have tryed contacting my local seat dealer but they are usless and say the car is too old for them to check there system.

You'd have a better chance of getting a meaningful answer if you posted the part number of the module, the component information, and the current coding. All oft this can be read with a 1551.
