How can it be your brake switch?

I had this issue too on my fr170 fault code was p0299 cured it by cleaning the turbo with a additive and running it on decent diesel!

That's what they said.

But asked me bring car back in 2morra as its MOT time anyway.

How long did it take to clean your turbo etc & how much?

Just ended up running 2 bottles of "forte turbo cleaner" through which costs about £10 a bottle and run the car of shell nitro diesel

I regen less and have no flashing lights!

This has worked for me I use the shell nitro stuff as I put a tank in and noticed I had more miles on my mfa plus I had better throttle response and just noticed a improvement in the car! Plus I had no turbo boosting issues!

If you buy a cheap hand scanner scan your car for faults my fault was p0299 under/over boost to turbo... running a cleaner through and decent diesel seems to cure my issues!
