Coil pack?

when my car is sitting idle it sounds as its about to cut out will this be the coil packs? no warning lights are coming up on the dash.

When a pack fails the engine check light will flash if you drive it.
Poor idle can also be coolant sensor or air flow meter.
If your car is well serviced and not near to plug replacement interval then it could be the above.

had it on vagcom its the lamda sensor

Mines being hesitant now and again James and it was my brake light switch !! No codes stored strangly but the vw specialist said bet its the brake light switch and its cured lol

Frightening really.. Long gone are the days of logical trouble shooting- a brake light switch causing running issues
