Hello all,

I have a MY03 Cupra R 210, I have a problem with my car that if you look at it from one side it is about 5-8mm lower that the other. I can totally notice it.I measured from the top of the wheel to the wheel arch, it’s also visible if you look at the back of the car on a flat surface(i had the spirit level out, looked like a right nob messuring the road, ha ha)
I have standard suspension all round, can this be adjusted via the Coilovers or something to fix this problem? (All 4 springs and shocks have been replaced but i am not very confident in my mechanics’ ability)

Cheers

Rob

Yeah, i have put about 9k on them, which should be more than enough, i am kind of at a lose to what the problem may be.
Like what else could be affecting th ride height on one side.?

yep, the New springs and shocks made bugger all difference.
I thought the car might have got a knock or something, but there is not damage and the alloys etc.. are perfect. There is definetly something a miss though.

Yes Fl@pper,just got the mesauring tape out and the front right is lower, it is about 15mm lower than the left front side.

The back is the same except it it only about 10mm lower on the right side.
Does that make sense?
i can get pics if you want.

just i've noticed the same thing on 3 different cars

2 of which were on corner weight scales at the time and registered nearly 15/20% more weight on the drivers side

don't forget on that side you have engine/steering/controls/driver etc etc so its bound to be one sided to a degree

i wouldn't panic too much as long as it handles ok but check your tyre pressures
