i was joking about the bumper bit really - i'd be more concerned with the sump and other very low components. The cupra is about 15mm lower than a std leon anyway...
the coilovers cost you 700 notes? or the coilovers + fitting?
going by this link here:

they are approx £550, and state that they drop up to 65mm front, and 50mm rear. So for your car to be 60mm all round sounds very low to me - i know mines 30mm and that low enough!
They also say on there:
Please Note: At over 45mm lowering at the front, a modified anti roll bar is required to prevent fouling
Which makes me think that drop links will not
help you.
On the LC, the arb is OVER the driveshaft. The r32 and modified arbs are UNDER the driveshaft, hence solving the issue.
For your drop, i somehow doubt drop links will do the job?
I am looking into this and still learning big time, but thats the way i understand it.
