Coilovers

Hi all
Been offered FK adjustable coilovers for my car. Only thing is theyre off a 1.4 sport.

Will they fit my fr tdi??

Should do, they all carry same weight on coilovers iirc??

Don't hold me to it but I think the FK ones are for the whole Ibiza range?

yeah they only have one set for the entire range, just had a look on the website. £428 delivered, cheaper than my last car thats for sure.

ive been thinkin about getting the FK silverlines. what kind are yours?

im kinda tempted to spend a bit more and go for KW's coz ive heard the ride is better but htey are quite a bit more expensive

his looks pretty slammed so i would be well happy to do the same to mine, i've been worried bout the ride and quality tho coz the roads are terrible round here so it cld b worth the extra money for KW's

oh i love my coilovers! perfect for me bit bumpey on bumpy roads BUT WHO CARES! but i get rattles :birdy: on ur bike WHO CARES my car handles so much better looks so much better imo and the ride for me is fine! can also get it as low as this

was a tad too low tho as much as i love it!

shame the back dont match the front if the back went this low all the time then the front would stay the same as the pic above!

has anyone on here fitted KW's? although i think rash has convinced me to get the FK's.

is it dropped all the way in the pic? im wantin it slammed but theres ridiculous amount of speed bumps where i stay so dunno if i can go down all the way

I heard that kw's can go even lower at the back than the fk's? This true??

but the pic of the back of mine is parked on a funny hill wish it would stay that low the front is at the bottom of the setting for that pic now is a more practicle 3-4 inches clearance!

i cant fault the fk's i have but it is a bias comment as ive not been in many coilovered cars!

My mate has spax coilovers on his mk3 cupra which give a firm but comfortable ride, dunno if spax do em for the mk4??? Can u get it ny lower at the back by filling the boot with weights??

i thought the KW's lowered 65mm and the FK's 75mm but i cld be wrong cant remember now.

i need to wait to payday anyway so it'll give me plenty time to research and make my mind up!

i wish i cld get mine as low as in the pics and still drive it like that
