No probs at all mate, we can all have days like that.

it's easy to roll out that thread as it throws plenty of curveball thoughts into the mix for consideration. The way it's written can sound a bit lecturing, but at the time I wrote it, it felt like there was a thread being written every 2 seconds about how cheaply people could slam their motors on the deck, with no consideration of their own safety.

All I want is you to make the safest and most dependable choice, and the Weitecs for a little more money are an immense product and should cause you a lot less grief as they've been around for a good while (I had my first set in 1997), so you know they aren't going to have gone bust by the time you need a potential warranty claim.

Best of luck making your mind up, there is lot of choice out there, but do speak to Damian at DPM, or one of the other forum sponsors as there are good deals to be had.

Yeah i dont mind a bit of fabrication here and there, just wondering how diffrent it was. Will have to borrow a strut and remove mine to have a look whats what.

strut is totally the same, just has a bracket mounted to the side, as per your oem ones to allow the arb to attatch via droplinks.. the cupra doesnt as the arb attatches to the wishbone not the strut, but id=f you can fabricate then youd have top quality suspension at a cheap price
