Caould I have some advise please?

The offside of my car seems to have collapsed! Litrally, we have just got in it on the drive to town and is sounded very very creaky before we moved off the drive. So I slowley took it up to the top of our road and back and it started smelling of rubber. I asked my other half to move the gentley steering wheel while i was outside of it when we were on th drive, and then there was a load snapping noise. The Car didnt drop when the noise happened, but having checked both sides, the offside is much lower! Does it sound like the suspensions collapsed? Or could it be something else?

THanks so much in advance.

Just happened to mine about an hour ago, my passenger front spring snapped  check the springs

probably front offside spring.
this could also cause the snapping sound when turning front wheels.
Jack it up and take a look.

replace in pairs if it is this!
(or factor in the cost of this work and take it away from the cost of fitting a suspension kit and realise its an opportunity to get a suspension upgrade at a sort of discount...)

Thanks so much for the replies! If it is the front spring, what should I be looking to pay to get them both replaced? I guess its going to be a flat bed lorry too to get it 5 miles?

I appreciate your replies, TY!
