Collected the TDI FR 170 yesterday

Collected the TDI FR 170, and had the pleasure of driving it 100 miles back home
Trully unbelievable for standard 2.0 ltr diesel!!!!!
Not stopped smilling since
Only small gripes I have is the 1 flip key and the steering wheel is not exactly in the centre
I drove a couple before buying this one and they were the same!!!!!!
Luckily we have an infra red wireless 4 wheel alignment machine at work so won't be a problem to sort that out

Nice one, I've never driven any of the new diesels but even if it's only 10% better than my old 150 it's gonna be a cracking car. Many happy miles mate!

i agree mate i love the diesel. I have just done 400 miles to london and back in the past two days and on the motorway it really is a good car.

I've had mine 6 months now and oevrall I would say it's a good car.......a couple of annoyin things though:

It's noisier than almost all the competition
Fuel economy is only OK
Have glow plugs/cold starting problem

But, it does the job it needs to very well

i have mine afew weeks now the car is abit noise and in the wet first gear is a joke it just spins worse things are the plastic inside is so cheap round by the handbrake and i am sure the glove box only cost about 10p can anyone tell me where the light is when it shows you have cruise on

If you have a non-Bluetooth car there is no light to tell you the cruise is on!

steering wheel not centred either local Seat Dealer charge €75 for alignment ?? what's the problem with the flip key ( a little James Bond I thought). on FR little green speedo icon in centre speedo area for cruise control lights up, enjoy enjoy. Bags of fun yesterday on drive between Craigavon and Newry A27 a great surface lovely piece of road DSG is a dream I love my FR
