Got a guy on the OBD11 Forum who is trying to change his comfort blink from 3 to 5.

OBD11 Change has worked (AS IN IT SHOWS 5) but still only blinks 3.

Anybody managed to get this done and if so what did they do.

coding he used was

09 - Central Electronics
Adaptation
Select – Aussenlicht_Blinker
Komfortblinken Blinkzyklen – From 3 to Your chosen value
*Reset MIB Lighting Setting to Complete

thanks in advance for any help

Major changes to MY16 models, coding for earlier Toledos doesn't work on them - they're much more like Golf 7 or Leon 3 than the earlier cars.

Not sure about OBD11, but Carista fairly often indicates a change has been made but it doesn't work. Normally it only take 2 or 3 attempts for it to save properly with the effect you want.

Thanks very much, Yes i am aware of the config change by VW which is why we are trying the face lift coding but currently to no avail.

I will suggest to user that he tries a couple times and see what happens you never know.
