Is the switch to control the computer display settings on the end of the windscreen wiper control on the right hand side standard on all LCs? or was it another one of those some had them and some didn't?

Mine doesn't have one and so the only display I can have on my console is outside temp, (not that I'm too bothered about it). Should I be worried about this in any way?

LC owners only please.

think it's standard accross vag range mate.

should be able to see time, temp, all mpg, average speed, time driven, milage n all that malarky!!

without sounding too condecending...... are you sure you don't have it???

should be two buttons on the end with one on the underside of the stalk to switch between option 1 and 2 in some settings.

Ok well I've done a bit of searching of autotrader and it looks like, (as far as I can tell), that pre-facelift cupras don't have this switch on the end of the lever. At least I've found pics of 4 other 01 and 02 year cars being sold as cupras which clearly show no switch.

Think you've hit the nail on the head - my '02 pre-facelift doesn't have it, but my mate's '03 facelift does. (Miss that feature from my old Clio 172 but not the rattles!!). Haven't seen any pre-facelifts with it fitted, but some of the earlier ones did have an additional radio display in the centre of the dials at the bottom of the instrument pack - test drove a Y plate a few years back which had it.

I think the only pre-facelift cupras with the computer as standard (hence the switch) are the imported ones... I read it here somewhere. Its one of a couple ways to determine if its imported or not - not that it makes much difference.
