Cone filter MAF position

Hi all,

I'm about to fit a Jetex cone to my LC, and have bought some silicone to push the cone further into the wing where I plan to secure it. Was just wondering if the placement of the MAF matters? I.e. it can either go:

TIP - SILICONE SPACER - MAF - FILTER, or
TIP - MAF - SILICONE SPACER - FILTER.

Any opinions on whether either is preferred and why?

From a functional perspective either is fine. But I would go for whichever options reduces the potential movement of the MAF, as vibration will cause it to fail in the long run.

Yeah that makes sense, il try and secure the cone to the wing and see if it makes the first option better for maf stability
