hi all can anyone shed some light on this please , i was experimenting last night with my DV 007p i decided to try and hear this chirping noise it makes while reversed .anway with it reversed it makes more boost normally it settles around 11psi but now it settles at 15 . confused as i thought reversing the dv just gives a chirp noise and no perfomance benifits

thanks david

it shouldnt make any performance differences. maybe your dv is leaking. to test it push the piston up, hold your finger over the vacume nipple and if it leaks back you need a service kit from forge.

thanks will try that but doesn't explain why im boosting more with the dv reversed as i said before confused because i know it doesn't have any perfomance benfits reversed

thanks david

I think they are less likely to leak reverse mounted as the pressure isnt pushing directly on the piston.. therefore it would leak less giving you more boost (well stop you from loosing as much boost as before)

I got to be honest both pressures sound weird, 11 is more than a stock cupra and 15 is generally less than a mapped car. Unless yours is a Cupra R?
