I had them on my Mk 2 Focus RS after replacing the Conti Sport contact 3. Really good dry grip for about 2500 miles after that they started to go off.
I replaced them after about 5000 miles. Granted, they didn't have an easy life and the RS is heavy on the fronts but the tyre life was appalling.
Yes, the PSS are a better tyre in my opinion, on par dry grip, better tyre life, better wet weather grip and decent feel.
I'm not a Michelin fanboi either just my experience.
I've tried Conti sport contact 3, Sport contact 5P, P Zero Nero, P Zero Rosso, Goodyear Eagle F1 Ass 2, PSS also Cup 2 but they are great at going fast not much else.
