Coolant Light Flashing

Hi All,

When i started my car this morning i got a beep and the coolant light flashed for approx 15 secs, turned the ignition off and turned it back on and it beeped again and flashed approx 15 secs. After that it just went off and the temp went up to 90o and stopped there.

My mate has VAG.com on his laptop and we ran a diagnostic and it all came back clear. Is this just a feature on the Leon when its cold on a morning or is it something i should woory about

Clean the prongs in the coolant bottle that should cure it

Will do so don't think its anything to worry about also i know its off the subject but ordering some HID's are the bulds H7 or H7 something

Is the coolant level now a bit low? And search for the bulbs. There are loads of threads about it. Alternatively check the owner manual in your car

TBH didnt check the level will take some water out with me in the mornin to top up if needed

H7R bulbs is what's needed, yeah if the level is low be that, but i thought you might of checked that

ha ha no was too worried it might be somet drastic as only had the car 3 days
