Couple of fault codes, advice please

Hi,

Ran vag-com on our leon 1.9 tdi and it came up with a few faults.

First:

1 Fault Found:
00883 - Ignition Switch (D) Terminal S
012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit - Intermittent

Any idea what this could be?


Also:

1 Fault Found:
00896 - Trunk Lock Unit (F256)
008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00101000
Fault Priority: 4
Fault Frequency: 3
Reset counter: 196
Mileage: 147066 km

I presume the micro switch in the boot lock is worn/faulty? The door open lamp is lit up on the dash and the central locking wont lock (because it thinks a door is open i guess) Is there any way vag-com can disable the lock module for now until I can get a new one?

As far as I know there is no CD changer, should there be in a 1.9 tdi stylance?

ignition switch faulty and that will affect cdl
you cant code out boot lock im affraid new part mate
and it sounds like the radio is coded for cd changer and needs recode

Thanks for that, it seems someone took the original radio out and put in a mp3 version...

Do you know is the actual boot lock I need or is there a seperate control module for it?

Seems people are having this problem and it turns out it's the driver/passenger door control modules however no fault is showing for them...

I'm officially confused
