Can someone let me know where the crank sensor is please? I think it's causing my starting issues so just want to check it over before I go and buy a new one.

Sorry to butt in is it the same location on the leons? and does the timing belt cover need removing? thanks
Cheers for that pal, getting a code something along lines of crank position sensor, incorrect angle or something along them lines.
Im sure thats the camshaft sensor that everyones mentioning under the timing belt cover. the crank sensor is under the knock sensons underneather the oil filter housing towards the flywheel side of the block.
crank sensor is to the right of the oil filter behind the front engine mount m8,
the cam sensor is described above...

make sure of the sensor befor you carry out any work, could be the cam chain or tensioner need replacing
Cheers guys ill check the sensor, and then if no luck there, ill get a new chain and tensioner, and get on with that,
