Creak Creak

Is the noise i get when i turn the steering to the right when moving but only happens when close to full lock and when moving!!! \have had a look at steering rack track rods CV joints driveshafts all ok was thinking maybe top mount bearings can anyone help???

just pop the top off the suspension & inspect the top mount, you don't need to get it realigned then

could be a number of things do do with the suspension or the wheel bearing
have a look, give it a clean and a squirt of WD40, if its still creaking or groaning take it to a garage

WD40 on a bearing? Is that wise? Wheel bearing done not that long ago so i would be suprised if it was that!!

it could be wheels rubbing on the engine wall bit, or maybe inside the arches. mine does it only turning right near full lock, and it wont make a noise when still cos the wheels arent moving?

remember - mine was 'done' and within a week it was thunking.....

the genuine VW parts are fine now though......

well its got worse but it is doing it when the wheels are straigh5t and only when the clutch is out and only when in gera!!!!

get it to a garage and get it up on a ramp, than take it from there
