Think my workers were sober when they made mine. Nearly 20k and no squeeks, creeks or rattles :)

Wait till it gets to 30k! lol Although now that i've fixed the b pillar creakyness, the only thing that seems to be rattling is the parcel shelf which I know is broken, and all the lose crap I have in the glovebox. So if I address those two issues i should be pretty rattle free.

I've had 3 Ibizas over the years MK3, 4 and 5, and they've all creaked or rattled to a greater or lesser extent. The MK3 was by far the worst, though apart from that it was extremely reliable. Subsequent models seem to be getting better and my current car is fairly quiet, but not rattle or creak free.

Guess it just seems to be a sad fact that poor build quality of Ibiza interiors are a fact of life, but thankfully it seems to be getting slowly better. My MK5 Golf I had for 3.5 years (from new) and it never had a single rattle in all that time.

Wonder if the facelift model will be any better??? I doubt it! lol ;)

I had a Mk4 Golf for 5 years and not one problem with creaks and rattles either. Think I will be heading back for a Golf after this one is paid up......

I have the same problem and so does my dad hes got the cupra mk5 but we put it down to the poor seals around the glass roof's as we both got them. So seems every one has the same problem. Apart from the odd creaking the cars great! Mine mainly creaks when cold. Dont no why but as soon as i warm the car up inside or if a warm day creaking is less noticed!

I've just been cleaning mine and discovered the cause of the rattle, seems the entire passenger side interior trim had somehow detached from the rest of the car and the door seals on that side weren't sitting right either. Think I've clipped it back in now so should quieten it down for a few days but it will no doubt pop out again. Also discovered my gearstick gaitor has split.

The joy of owning a Spanish built vehicle...

Sorry for the triple posting but yes same here also! The clips are a really poor design and it doesn't take much to damage them. Can't be bothered to do anything about it though.

Is this something that happened after a certain amount of Km? I've driven 7k and had the car for a year now and no rattles yet.

Mine gets a lot of country road driving, and I'm not talking A roads! So I think that has contributed to my rattles. It's still way better than my mk3 and lubricating the door seals has gotten rid of the worst noises it was making.

The clip at the side of the parcel shelf where it hooks onto the part that is pivots on is broken on one side. So it just kinda flaps about - only needs a new clip but I haven't the time to take it in for the repair. Will get it sorted in the summer sometime.

That is a quick fix under warranty :) literally a 20 second job for.them. They didn't even send a garage tech out. The bloke at front desk who sorts warranty did it for me lol. Must be a common breaking part.
