Creation Motorsport TIP fitting...turbo end?

Hi folks, left my car in the other day for a few bits bobs so while over there i thought i would give him the TIP i purchased from CM. Anyway picked it up again...TIP not fitted!!!
Mechanic said he couldnt see how the TIP would fit on the turbo end without coming off?
I have seen a few pics of TIPs fitted and all look fine with a good jubilee clip securing it on so where have I or my mate went wrong guys? Gona give it ago myself this weekend so any help be great

No need for the turbo to come off. I put my SFS tip in place from the top, and secured it in pace from underneath with a jubilee clip

Sorry meant he could not see how the turbo pipe fiited and could not secure it. I know some people say its abit tight going on but as far as he is aware the turbo end of the TIP will not fit on the turbo as in he doesnt see how it could....Although i KNOW and SEE it fits with a jubilee clip going by threads on the forum.

I fitted my cm tip last weekend. Didnt take long and not as difficult as i expected. I just used a jubilee clip. I think he must have thought that it connected to the metal part on the original tip.

This is what i thought was the case to be honest. Will let you know how i get on at the weekend anyway.

On the stock turbo, there is a metal 90 degree outlet which attaches to the turbo with a cap head screw. This needs to be removed first.

To somebody that doesn't know the 1.8t engine, it would look like part of the turbo.
