aww man, that's really unfortunate. such a beautiful car.

i just spent close to two hours reading this whole thread, and can honestly say that you are one lucky guy!
the white cupra rims against the topaz blue looks stunning, it really does. it's one of the nicest cars i've seen. and good work getting the engine rebuilt!

but on the other hand.. it's quite a coincidence. the reason i'm on this forum is because i'm considering buying a 1litre P reg Ibiza, i knew it wasn't stock. it has cupra rims, debadged, lowered.. and it's topaz blue!! i always wondered what colour it was, and now i do. now i've seen what it can be like in full glory.

after reading this whole thread, i've decided that i'm buying it. i'm going to keep it and work at it for a project. maybe stick a 1.6 16v lump in there, completely rebuild all of it over time.

thank you for helping me to do this! good luck with everything in the future mate.

aye i'm gunna stick around. insurance is the biggest kick in the teeth atm, i would go for a 1.4s or similar but i just cant afford it. so it's either a 1litre or a diesel! it's a beautiful car mate. i know you've had troubles but it must be worth it, it's the joys of cars! just think about how youre driving a nicer looking car than everyone else, and what kinda thing you got hidden under there;)
speaking of which, what figures you getting?

I washes mine twice ( a year ) no point as it only gets dirty again or you wish it will and cover the dents up
