sorted the damage the best i could until it goes through insurance,, needed it back on road so bodged the bumper back on! lol...pulled the wing out so its not so bad too look at..( dont help me when im pimping)

I spose even if they do write it off its not the end of the world becuase you can take the - cash in lou - offer and then get the cash for the car but ts not a CATC. Thats what happened to my old 16v.

cant see them writing it off tbh...i shall be alot happy if i dont go through the books...ive gotta get some estimates now...will make sure they include dflashing over bonnet also
well i had a phone call from some company today...one company dealing with 4 different people....its a fecking nightmare...there is me..royal mail...bodyshop...hire company........
oh and they only wanted me to travel to a bodyshop over 70 miles away just for an estimate.....
the twat at the bodyshop went through the details of the car and said 'oh its a p reg...if it needs a bumper and wing done, will prob be a write off'.... what a toss bag
they dont understand that i need a vehicle to go to and from work..... numptys.....as you can tell im well chuffed

the bumper well need to be repaired any way as it has busted all the holes where it bolts on...even the lower spoiler...the wing will just need a bit of filler/stud puller and paint.
well the car has been trailored away for the 3rd time in my ownership
its on its travles to the closest local vw group approved body centre..what they do/how long/how much they do is unknown...and two mins later the hire car arrives.. a brand spanking new focus 5dr which seems ridiculasly huge compared to the beezer
