Having my wheels refurbed and painted.

I know this has been asked by a few people but I am still undecisive so please help.

What colour?

a)Shiny Gloss Black?
b)Shiny Gloss White?
c)Any other ideas?

Things to consider:

a)Black make the tyres stand out and look old and dirty

b)I have a muppet round the corner from me with a Red CTR on White 19" Wolfrace Mantis. Will I be copying?????

I would go with a gloss finish of a slightly darker colour.... may be anthresite rather than black...

I am not sure about black wheels and like you say, you will be constantly painting your tyres with blacker... White is just not an option in my opinion but that is what you asked for....

A nice polished finish in all options is a great idea though.

Go for white IMO, red cars with white wheels looks good. Shame about the neighbour but at the end of the day hows car would you rather, whats he gonna do chase you???

At the end of the day go with what you want mate..... It doesn't matter what other people think its your car, plus if you are at a meet or a show no one will know your neighour...

Totally agree with the above, also you dont have to have the same wheels, just colour.

i had white wheels on my mini before i got my LCR.. looked lovley when they where clean.. but omg did they get dirty quickly.. if i wash my leon then go for quick run round the block.. i can just wipe my finger over the spokes and can see the dust.

Think they could look good. Might be worth a photoshop.. easily done if youve got a good pic of your car.
