Cupra 280 sub 8 alloys

Just out of curiosity the sub 8 alloys were they available as a extra on normal Cupra 280s

Aren't they just the multi spoke alloys which you can buy for about £600 extra when ordering the cupra? They look identical to me.

Yeah I thought the same. Black multi spokes were included in sub 8

Same wheels! I've ordered those with mine and Paid the dealer an extra few quid for the standard Cupra wheels to be thrown in on the deal! So anybody looking for replacement wheels, get in touch!

So tyres are the only difference as sub 8 have the Michelin pilots

I thought the sub 8 wheels were designed just to take the bigger brakes that don't fade on track.

Alloys are more than round things. The Sub8 are forged (strong and light) I read somewhere here they are 9kg? (Edit: no, they are 12,5kg) Can someone confirm? The regular 19" are supposedly 13-13,7kg (read different things), if numbers check out that is a big difference is rotating, unsuspended weight!

I am changing from these alloys which are off a sub 8 as I don't like the orange to some alloys off a Cupra 280 non Sub 8 one. Alloys look the same but in different colour

Ignore the disc size as the bottom picture was taken on the rear

They are still sub 8 wheels but black. The pack came in 3 colours orange, white and black

I am sure the multi spoke wheels are the same as the sub 8 wheels. They look identical. If you bought the multi spokes all that meant was they fitted these wheels on the standard brakes and discs rather than the sub 8 brakes and discs.
