Morning all

This topic may have been covered before i dont quite understand the on board psi boost if i accelerate harder ive got it to go up to 26.7psi surely this isnt correct for a stock car , dealer has assured n me its stock

The EA888 gen 3 from an S3 has charge pressures listed at 17.4psi (1.2bar) - so a stock 290 should be around this I would suggest.
Boost pressure can be read in two different ways - relative or absolute - how does your gauge read?

Though your 26.7psi seems to align with google for a remapped car!

Its just the on board psi so im sure this would be absolute

Its probably with ambient pressure included, so you need to subtract about 0.9 bar (13 psi). I remember seeing a high value there with my unmapped 280. To be honest I never used those gauges again after I added a separate boost gauge, which purely reads out boost pressure.

Yea i googled and the inbuilt one on screen is with ambient included

That looks like a nice bit of kit mate
