I need some advice,

can people tell me what finance deals there are for the Cupra, and how much a month people are paying. trying to decide if can afford the Cupra or if i might have to settle for the old Cupra R.

Do a search, there was a thread in the last week about this..

But if your financing £15,000 over 3 years, look to be paying about £400 a month, or a bit more.

Id imaging it being nearer £500 a month over 3 or 4 years. It aint cheap :(

If I was going New Cupra is go 5 years, (around £380-£400 per month)

ouch.. that is a bit expensive. looks like the old Cupra r is looking more likely solution, well for a year or so until the new cupra starts to become a bit cheaper on the second hand market

there are demonstrators out there that are around 4 months old now. they will probably all be standard cars, and i know the dealership where i'm getting mine from is advertising theirs at £16995, and i'm pretty sure they'd take less.

youd be looking to finance around £13k which is available over 5 years for £250 a month.

Im paying mine over 5 years, couldnt afford it any other way without having nothing left each month. Sit down and work out how much spare cash you have and realistically how much you can afford each month to play with. If your budget is £300 p/m then you need to pay it off over a longer period. Always remember that nearer the end of the term, your car will be worth more than your loan so in 3 or 4 years you might fancy a change. In which case, sell it and settle the balance, and start again...

In my opinion it would be worth the extra for the new Cupra if you can stretch to that :D. Just think, in 3-4 years time the old Cupra will be seriously out of date. At the end of the day its all down to preference and what you prefer. Test drive both and make your mind up then :D

And also, why not sell your car privately and try to get more money for it?

We are talking about the old Cupra R here, that sort of speed, especially remapped, never goes out of date!!!!

brought it on finance. still got over 2 years left of a 4 year finance deal.

Doesnt that say a lot about looking to finance a Cupra over a similar period - every chance you will get bored after 2 years and be left in a similar position which isnt ideal.

I dont want to put a downer on it, just being realistic.
